Broken Life

Broken Life

Many, many years ago I led a broken life
I drank and smoked and partied almost every night
And I thought it was amazing, I just hadn’t seen the light.

I’m sure my sins were countless but you brought me in anyway
A scarred and damaged soul wasn’t too much to push you away

And now my life is thriving with your everlasting joy
I don’t know why you pardoned me
You took me in and set me free
But thank you dear Emmanuel your life you gave for me

Whoa. Whoa. My life was shallow, empty and devoid
Of the love of our redeemer
And You forgave me Lord

Help me share your word, dear Lord, with other broken souls. Place the words on my lips that turn their lives around. A life led with you precious Lord, so rich and so full.

I want to share Your story in whatever way you have planned. Thank you sweet Jesus for giving me your hand.

Whoa. Whoa. My life was shallow, empty and devoid
Of the love of our redeemer
And You forgave me Lord
