I share with you
My great commission.
We humbled our stance,
We prayed in submission.
The pain was released,
The demons rebuked,
The lame man walked.
I witness to you.
Not by my will,
Nor by my deeds
But by praying to Jesus,
God gave us peace.
With the afflicted
We boldly did pray.
Our souls were bowed down,
We give Glory God’s way.
The pray-ers were different,
The prayers weren’t the same.
What was in common
Was the faith in God’s name.
The trust in the promise
When the faithful gather,
The Holy Spirit is there
With miraculous power.
I had a miracle.
I still have it today.
My commission, as witness,
Is to tell you to pray.
