The Father’s Love

Sean M. Lane Hartmann |

January 19, 2026

The love of the father is like no other
It’s firm and abrupt, makes you wonder
The storm that wreaks havoc with might and fury
With the strength of a hurricane, your eyes go blurry
Chaotic and crazy, no rhyme or reason
What kind of love is this? Is this just a season?
Some of you know the love of a father.
While some could not run fast enough, farther
Others of us maybe had a good idea, with no great examples
But learned of God’s love and found out, its substantial
The ultimate Father, whose love is tough, the toughest I know
But whose teachings are equally important to sow
When you are ready, these seeds will be revealed
As amazing trees, with much more to yield
The love of your father is compassionate and kind
Once you learn of it, you can follow him blind
The unconditional love that makes you want to do or give more
He looks at us with eyes that adore
His love is just and true, give your life to him
He knows what to do
If you don’t know the fathers love; Read, ask questions and Learn
The Holy Spirit will help you to discern
Ive done my best to try explaining the unexplainable
If you still don’t understand, just know His Love is Attainable!
